The Mobile Security Management Server on an OfficeScan Manager server. Always refer to the OfficeScan server documentation for the latest minimum system requirements. Trend Micro Mobile Security 7 supports the following OfficeScan Manager servers:

Additional Requirements for OfficeScan Server

  • At least 1GB of available disk space
  • Apple Push Notification Service (APNS) license, if managing Apple devices. An organization must have this license in order to activate the mobile device management (MDM) APIs on the iOS-based devices that it will manage. The license can be purchased from Apple and must be set up on the APNS server.
  • A Blackberry Enterprise Server (BES), if managing Blackberry devices.

About the Advanced Edition

There is no Advanced edition of Trend Micro Mobile Security 7. All features are included in a single, base product. The Windows and Symbian encryption features that make up Trend Micro Mobile Security 5.5 Advanced Edition are not included in Trend Micro Mobile Security 7.
